Review: Fantastic for Achilles injury - I bought one to try it out on my left foot to help with the achilles injury i keep aggravating. FANTASTIC! I bought a second one so that my gait is even. No problem walking outside, in gravel, in grass, on hills, indoors,..... No issue with balance. I can feel the shoe hugging my arch area, and have never had an unstable moment. IMPORTANT: MY Achilles heel is healing!!!! I use these around the house as much as I can, and they are far superior to comfortable, cushioned sandals. Just that usage has made all the difference (when out, I use supportive shoes, but those alone did not allow my heel to heal. Highly recommend. A little modification is needed to keep the ankle strap from slipping out of the buckle...but there is so much excess velcro, that I used some to double up on the end, and that keeps the strap from going through the buckle
