It swings very well for a $12 hammer. Not that I care about the color, but it is a well made and good looking hammer if such a thing can be said about a hammer. The size is fairly standard so it’s not too light or too heavy. I would highly recommend this over some cheaper big box store, hammers or other mail order hammers on the market. It seems to be very durable and will last for years as well taken care of. I noticed in some of the other reviews there were complaints about the clearcoat coming off. That’s not meant to be a permanent part of the hammer. It will wear off and the hammer will patina if well taken care of. If you don’t take care of it, it will rust. That’s your fault.
