I have both Bridger mid height and the 8" boots. They are very comfortable and didn't take much to break them in. As far as the waterproof part goes I've found that they are only water resistant- tromp briefly through a wet area or creek and they will shed water pretty well. Walk for a prolonged time through wet undergrowth and you will have wet feet. I even weighted them and put them in a tub of water to make sure it wasn't sweat and they definitely leaked. I still give them 4 stars because they fit so well and after much research online I have come to the conclusion that the only true waterproof boots are probably going to be rubber and they don't fit well enough for me for hiking. The general online consensus seems to be that there are probably going to be times when your feet are going to get wet- learn to deal with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best and most comfortable boot to date....... *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2021* I have tried every top brand boot out here and more expensive. I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day on concrete. I decided to try these. So far they are by far the most comfortable boot I have owned. I take them off at end of long days and my feet feel like they have not been on concrete at all. Plus the insulation keeps your feet warm. They are actually "Waterproof" as they claim. A lot of manufacturers claim they are but these are 100%. I tested them out as took my Akita for a walk and we walked up and down her favorite stream in the cold (snow on the ground) for at least 30 minutes and no leaks and feet kept nice and warm. I will be buying the "shoe"version of these as well this week. ### ⭐⭐⭐ not the same color as advertised *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2021* The boots are nice, Oboz come narrow so I order the wide for comfort. Couldn't get wide in these boots but they seem to fit pretty good and should feel better when broke in. Only 3 stars because in typical Amazon fashion the color isn't near the color advertised.
