I’m horrible saver especially with my online spending and I’m trying to save up for a big trip in October. I’m the type of person where if it’s out of sight out of mind so I thought a piggy bank would help me a bit. I read the instructions and set everything up within 5 minutes. The clock and all that were a bit of a bugger if you’re too slow pressing buttons but it wasn’t a big challenge for me but I do see it being an issue for some people. I tested it out with dollar bills and coins, depositing and withdrawing and everything worked according to the instructions. Although some people say the issues came later, so we’ll see and I’ll update if I have any issues. It is a complex toy, so keep that in mind. People complained about having to use the credit card to get into it and while I agree that could possibly be an issue it’s also part of the fun, at least in my opinion. If you’re using this to teach kids about the real world, its pretty realistic, I mean if you lose your card you’re outta luck 😅 (just kidding) but in all seriousness, yes you need to remember a code and keep the card in a safe place. It’s a pretty steep price (at the time I purchased it, it came to about $62 US dollars) but I haven’t bought a toy since 2010 so maybe I don’t know how expensive toys are nowadays.
