Review: Smells like wet wool - I have no doubts about the product quality. The issue is that it smells like wet sheep’s wool. And it’s very greasy. I couldn’t find any practical way to use it without getting it all over my clothes or anything else it came in contact with. It also can’t be used around other people due to the smell.

**Q: Does this lanolin have an odor? The brand I use currently smells like a sheep.**
A: YES, it has a very slight smell of wet wool, like if u handwash woolen sweater and it air dries this is the smell, but once u rub it into the skin, - u smell nothing, really as i said, it is very very faint .

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: It says carefully manufactured for Piping Rock, New York

**Q: Is this anhydrous lanolin?**
A: I can not find the word "anhydrous" on the label.  There has been no separation in the lanolin (no liquid appearing).  It still smells clean and fresh to me, I got in on March 6, 2017.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Can I use this for facial moisterizer?**
A: Most people believe it is good for your skin but everyone is different.
