Unit can operate from the battery, or via a cigarette lighter socket in the car. Easy to change it between psi, kPa, bar units. Pressure easy to set. Settings not lost when battery removed. Pumps until target pressure is reached. Only downside is that there's no way to lower pressure. Otherwise 5 stars. Update July 2025 Pump display not waterproof. Using this in the rain messes up the display. Imagine that, a car product for outside use that isn't waterproof. So if you must pump in the rain, keep it shielded. Now to see if drying will help, otherwise back it goes. Downrating to 2 stars. Update later in July Seller read the review, issued a replacement and gave some usage tips. Pump not waterproof, use in rain should be avoided and splashes etc should be dried immediately. Store in a dry place. I'm revising to 4 stars because it's a good product, but how to avoid using it in the rain when you have a flat is beyond me. Still, product support and customer service are good.
