Fan appears to be decent quality. Pivot and swing motion function well. Time will tell if it lasts but there are no signs of failure now. And since it is low priced it doesn't have to last many years to pay for itself.Downside is the fan is very noisy. This is common with low priced 3 blade fans. If sound levels are important to you then look for 5 blade fans. I swapped blades from an old 5 blade fan into another low priced 3 blade fan and now that fan is fairly quiet. The design of the blades makes a difference too. I put a different three blade fan into this unit and it made a noticeable difference. I do not see how you could find a difference in blade styles by just looking at the ad pictures though. It's super easy to put together.It's all made of cheap Chinese plastic, The "cage" around the fan blade is metal. Since all it's going to do is sit there I'm O.K. with the cheap factor. It doesn't look cheap. It's also very quiet.It has 1 -4 button panel Off,High,Medium and Low. Mine is turned on low all day,all night,all week,all month. My last fan ran continuously for 9 years after I initially turned it on. It was an American -made product. Hopefully this Chinese one will last at least a year.
