Review: Amazing - I was cutting dovetails with a really cheap saw I bought and the kerf was way too wide. I could never get a tight joint using that cheap saw. This suizan though made a huge difference. Granted I still had to pay attention and make sure of my cuts, it wasn't as if this tool did the work for me, but cutting on the pull stroke, the smaller kerf, the ergonomics of the handle etc meant I was a lot better at cutting the joint. Plus because I was going well and this is such a nice tool in the hand that I cut a lot more practice joints than I did before. So happy with this purchase

**Q: Does it come with a cover for the blade when it's not in use?**
A: I bought two of these.  The smaller one didn't have a cover but the larger one did

**Q: Do you peel off the plastic wrap on the handle or leave it there?**
A: Hi - I peeled it off; my logic was that apart from looking better, it would give better grip and therefore better control.
It is a fantastic saw. I use mine for cutting Shina ply for Japanese woodcutting.

**Q: Would this cut bone?**
A: Yes

**Q: What is the handle made of?**
A: Handle is a form of engineered plastic; its has a comfortable 'reponsive' feel in use.

I was cutting dovetails with a really cheap saw I bought and the kerf was way too wide. I could never get a tight joint using that cheap saw. This suizan though made a huge difference. Granted I still had to pay attention and make sure of my cuts, it wasn't as if this tool did the work for me, but cutting on the pull stroke, the smaller kerf, the ergonomics of the handle etc meant I was a lot better at cutting the joint. Plus because I was going well and this is such a nice tool in the hand that I cut a lot more practice joints than I did before. So happy with this purchase
