If you pull back 1” of the 3M tape to the outside and then tape it outside, before Bolting the flares firmly into place is easiest.(see pictures). I used a plastic upholstery tool to separate the flares from the fenders by 1/8”which made it easier to peel back the tape after they were bolted on.I expect they will work well in the cold northern Canadian climate!!
