You have to remember this is an emergency room, so they just use whatever they have. Well, the setup that they gave him, which was supposed to last for several days, before he had his prostate surgery, was not ideal. So I searched around on Amazon and I found this was the best urinary cath holder, to prevent the tugging of the catheter from the male penis. Which is one of the biggest gripes from Men. This helps prevent the tugging because you can adjust the leg strap, which a silicon beating in the back of it, so it does not slip down on your thigh. And there are many different variations on how you can adjust the strap and also adjust the tightness around the yellow tubing to make sure that doesn't tug on your penis.
