They are square cornered, not rounded, but the plastic is soft enough they aren't too sharp. Packaging, however, is ridiculous. They sent the covers loose in a HUGE box, I mean, about 50x bigger than the covers, so they did slide around in transit and were a bit of a mess to see when you open the box.
