Surprise, the lamp replaces one that was damaged when I moved and it was 30 years old. This is perfect with LCD lighting, able to mount by clamp or the heavy stand it also comes with, the choice is mine! The white color brightens the work area and magnification is super for these old eyes. The cost was very reasonable and it arrived a day early! I should have done this sooner since technology has changed. Old dogs learn new tricks! After a year it turns off and ruins my quilting. I think there is a short in the wiring since it goes off and on or just fades. I cannot use it since it is unreliable.
