In my case, the structural problem is not deep, but rather right at the very entrance to my sinuses. I had tried some other dilators with limited success and didn't expect much from this but gave it a try anyways. This one, strangely, is smaller in size, less obtrusive and yet works far better than the others. I couple it with a BreathRight strip and my sleep is almost blissful compared to before. My sinuses always swell as the night goes on and are almost closed completely by morning. With this, I always have some air coming in which is a huge improvement for me.A note on BreathRight strips. I see people complaining about skin breakdown on the bridge of the nose with repeated use.
