Review: FRAGRANCE IS TOO MUCH BUT THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT - Bought this to help give my dogs’ skin and coat a boost of moisture. It works well. I used about a tablespoon for each 40lb dog and adjusted from there for the bigger/smaller dogs. I’m not too sure what they mean by hot oil treatment since it cools to room temperature before applying. That is what I did for a couple dogs. For the rest of the dogs I just squirted it straight into room temp water and shook it well and it worked just the same, really. It foams up quite a bit when shaken with water. It did noticeably soften and moisturize the hair/coat after just one use. This product has too much fragrance and gives me a headache so I used it as a pre-treatment only. Applied, let it sit, then rinsed and shampooed and conditioned with my normal products. If there was less fragrance I would have used after conditioning, too, but the migraines aren’t worth it. I don’t like the tub. I don’t like sticking my fingers into products. I transferred some into a silicone squeeze bottle which worked much better and is more sanitary. I do rate this as 5 stars even though the fragrance is overpowering for me which limits its use. I would probably buy it again but if they had an unscented version I would most likely keep it in stock all the time.
