If it is to be used outdoors on blacktop or pavement and not a very smooth surface?** A: They wear out pretty quick, rough asphalt is the worst. I don't brake much...no hills where I live. Using this to brake will wear it out faster. I have seen a tip for these sticks that has wheels on it but you would have to drag them on the side to brake. I have thought about repairing the tips with cut up tires glued on.
