CamelBak 1278401001 Chute Water Bottle, Sea Glass, 1 L

I love this water bottle! I will take it everywhere, for errands, traveling, to the pool, anywhere. It holds plenty of water for me and most importantly, it DOES NOT leak. I have read a lot of reviews and tested it out and not one drop comes out. I think a lot of people writing these reviews don’t realize while filling it up, that some water spilled over the edges will pool up around the lid and then you got to take a drink and it drips. For those saying the whole bottle empties into their bags and gets everything wet, I think these people made the mistake of not closing it properly.I like that the lid is attached to the bottle, the bottle is dishwasher safe and lightweight, it’s in-expensive (I paid $9.06) and the sea glass color is beautiful. It’s a little more vibrant than the color appears online but still the perfect, refreshing color for me.My husband got me an 18 oz Yeti and although it works extremely well too, it’s very heavy and the whole lid detaches, which I am not a fan of. Yeti’s are much more expensive too.The only negative is that this bottle is so large that it does not fit in cup holders in my 2016 Town & Country minivan. My old van was a 2005 T&C and has adjustable cup holders, loved those. The newer van cup holders are not adjustable. However, I like this bottle so much that that issue is no longer bothering me. I will just have this bottle sitting with my purse on the front seat. It’s still close by and doesn’t leak, so I have now over looked that issue. Part of me wants the 20 oz/.6L bottle so that I can use it in the cup holders, I may eventually purchase it, we’ll see.Overall fantastic design, well made and works like it should. The price can’t be beat! Having this bottle encourages me to drink more water and I feel better. Highly recommend it!

UPDATE: It's been over a year & this bottle is still going strong! :)I've been using this for a while now and it's the best water bottle I've ever had. It's the perfect size: not too small but not too big either. I drink 2 liters of water per day so I just have to fill it twice (once AM and once PM) and I'm good to go. The little handle on the lid makes it easy to grab and carry. The mouthpiece easily twists open/closed and USUALLY doesn't spill when fully closed. I've found it does leak a tiny bit only when it's first filled all the way, which I believe is due to a small amount of water getting traoped under the lid and coming out then tipped to drink. I've started to be more careful with filling it, but I wanted to let others know, if it "leaks" a bit after you fill it up, double check because it's probably not leaking the actual contents.

Love the color! Looks like Caribbean blue. Love the fact that the lid is easy to clean. I was tired of all these drink bottles out there having the lids that you couldn't get to the inside parts to clean it. I like just an easy hole to clean. I also like that the lid is attached to the bottle. The size is perfect too. All around it's the best drinking bottle I've ever bought.

Overall, this water bottle is great. It’s large, easy to fill, easy to drink from, and attractive. I own a few of these bottles because they work so well and hold up well with rough use.The ONLY issue is that I have to be really conscious about tightening the drink opening fully. A few times, I’ve casually tightened the lid after taking a drink and ended up with leaks.Tighten the lid well and it’s a great purchase.

What's not to like? These things can take a beating, I've dropped them off bikes and trails quite a few times, and the top is easy to open and close while still staying reliably water tight.Strongly recommend this Chute-style over the Eddy version with the bite valve - the Eddy's valve is a nightmare to keep clean and gets damaged very easily, whereas the Chute's screw-on cap has yet to fail me and is dead simple to clean.

I liked it so much that hubby grew jealous and wanted one. My son wanted one. The PTO looked on with thirst and their inferior landfill bottles. I am the queen. I stay hydrated. I need to drink 2 of these a day to get the reccomended amount of water. So when I bought 2 more for the fam, I was happy. They too can experience the happies that came out of this majestic bottle. The fam hasn't used theirs yet but that means I've just gtot more n other colors so I can accessorize.They are spillproof if you get the tops on all the way. If you're like me, you'll hurt your wrist trying to screw the top on and still have a trickle of water run down into your bosom for the gaggle of women to gossip about. Atleast I'm not in the floor BARBARA, reaching for the top of the plastic bottle you've dropped 15 times. You say that bottled water is cleaner well germs roll around on the floor, don't they? Don't even get me started on how bad that is for the environment!

People keep trying to steal this from me because it is a magical, perfect teal color and it is legit the best water bottle ever. I have been trying to increase my water intake and this has been awesome. It sounds a bit weird, but because the spout to drink from is quite wide, you can gulp down a ton of water at once. Lol my issue with other bottles is they kind of force you to take little sips, so you feel like you're getting more water than you actually are. This lets you chug down a whole liter pretty rapidly, which is totally what we're going for when it comes to water consumption, right?

I bought this water bottle to use at college. I was looking for something that could hold a lot of water but not super huge. There was a lot of mixed reviews on this water bottle, so I was a little hesitant. I splurged the $9 and bought it. The color of the water bottle is not like the picture. It’s a much darker, teal color. Upon the first say 20, uses there was no signs of leaking. However, after using it for about two weeks, I noticed that it does leak from the plastic circle that covers the top of the bottle. I’m a little disappointed in this, as I was really banking on all those negative reviews just being a bad batch.

Excellent. Reached on time. Very durable. The water does not spill or leak anywhere. Will buy again. Its 1 L thats what I was looking for but its a little bit heavy in terms of when you fill water. 600 ml will also be better than 1 L. 1L is better if you are trekking or climbing. Its good for out door activities as well. Love the color. Sea Glass. I am happy with it.

Love this product. It has really helped me drink more water. The markers on the side really encourage to drink more water throighout the day. I bought this top due to it being easy to clean. I would however always make sure the cap is on properly before putting in your bag as it did leak once but this was my fault.Also not too big even though it does hold 1L

Ich habe diese Flasche in der "Seaglas" Farbe bestellt und bin nach wie vor zufrieden. Sie ist jetzt mehr als ein halbes Jahr im täglichen Gebrauch. Die Farbe weicht minimal ab, ist etwas dunkler als ich erwartet habe, finde sie aber trotzdem schön. Ich befülle die Flasche auch zur Hälfte mit Sprudel und dann noch den Rest Leitungswasser und bisher ist sie auch noch nicht ausgelaufen.Die Rillen am Verschluss sind ein bisschen umständlicher sauber zu machen(habe keine Spülmaschine), aber dennoch finde ich die Flasche immer noch super.

kann nun wieder problemlos mit in die Schule gegeben werden und es läuft nichts mehr aus, zumindest nicht, wenn man sich Mühe beim zuschrauben gibt. Da Kinder manchmal etwas unkonzentriert sind, kann es passieren, dass der Schraubverschluss schräg aufgesetzt wird und dann läuft das Wasser natürlich aus. Dafür gebe ich einen Punkt Abzug.Trotzdem gebe ich eine Kaufempfehlung.
