Two of the chairs were structurally unsound and needed to be rebuilt. The set, once assembled and stained, was pretty much what I expected for the price and I was not disappointed. The company offered to take back the faulty chairs if I would would take pictures that they could look at and analyze within a given time frame. We decided to have them rebuilt ourselves rather than disassemble and return them. I think you are better served to buy an item of this size and complexity locally so that you can deal with people in person if there is a problem. All that said, the table and twelve chairs are pretty and very functional.
