**Q: How do you open the cutter?**
A: My new cutters were very tight but I was able to muscle/pull them open. Perhaps loosening the bolts a bit might help.

**Q: Are these adjustable to open wider?**
A: No, they only open a certain width. Thicker shackles may require an angle grinder if doesn't meet your requirement.

**Q: Does this cut 1/4" or 1/2" sheet metal bolts easily?**
A: I have only used it for number 9 wire and heavy chain link fence and it worked easily on these. For half inch bolts you would need a heavier set.

**Q: Will this cut heavy floral wire?**
A: Yes. This cuts bolts with ease (the reason I bought it) Floral wire should be no problem.
