Than a friend suggested heating the pan with vinegar and baking soda (you have to be careful how much backing soda because it does foam up. And after doing this a couple of times everything came out and the pan looks brand new and shiny. It is a very nice pan after all. Just one point you do have to cook and medium, never on high. Cooking on high will burn the pan. So for me this product goes from a one star to a 5 star. The directions say to not cook on a high heat, but it doesn’t matter, it burns and sticks even on low heat, it’s really not worth the money. It's a great size, weight, evenly heats and really pretty good at being non-stick. Used only one time to make 2 yummy burgers. Only problem is the "yellow" residue that I can NOT scrub out. Used vinegar & baking soda, stainless steel scrubber, Eraser sponge. Guessing it's part of manufacturing process.
