Started riding in 99’ with old tennis shoes. Have tried several brands and styles and always come back to these for flats. Durable top side with just enough flex to be comfortable and a surface that allows u to wipe clean with wet cloth, decent venting, quick lacing with a tongue pocket to store excess lace and not have to retie mid ride, true to size with roomy toe box and the sole is grippy but extremely durable for a gum-sole flat. Last pair I got over 2 seasons of 1200-1500 miles. Cost is last plus. Crank bros makes quality products with good pricing.
