The black and white color scheme makes it much easier to read, more so than a cheapo metal & black one I have. This is far superior, enough that I wouldn't want to use the cheapo one after using this one. Only used it on a few guitars so far but it's been a pleasure (always a pleasure when tools don't get in the way of your work!). It's the perfect size and the included scales and rough figures save me from looking at my phone/computer repeatedly when dialing things in.
