Most vent mounts fall out as the phones are too heavy for them to stay secure. The bean bag style is perfect. When traveling I prefer using an old school Garmin instead of the autoplay options in my vehicle. I added a bracket to the ball socket and it works perfectly for the Garmin or cell phone. I love that it can be moved between vehicles. My primary vehicle (Toyota Sienna van) doesn't have a flat dash for it to be centered. However, thanks to the extra storage console (purchased on Amazon) I can set the holder on it and it's just the right height for me to view the screen.
