Review: Good value - I bought a Tumi, a Swiss Gear and this backpack. I also compared the Ogio in person which we already owned. This is the one I kept. The inside is roomy. The zippers are sturdy. It’s a nice backpack. The Swiss Gear was flimsy and cheaply made comparatively—this backpack seems a whole lot more sturdy. The Ogio was also sturdy and well-made but just felt a little too big for me.

**Q: Is crimson more red or orange ?**
A: it's more orange- a red/orange

**Q: Does the laptop compartment open up to get through TSA easily without pulling laptop out?**
A: I would say no. It’s just sort of a divider in the main section. I don’t know how you would avoid pulling the laptop out.

**Q: does this have a rain cover?**
A: no, but it is some what water resistant.

**Q: What is the warranty period?  this is the second high sierra backpack that failed to make it through a school year.**
A: I used this for university purposes...and I normally get 2-3 years out of one bag. And I only change because I want something new, I don't NEED to change them. And I work them out in terms of load, environmental exposure and daily use.

I bought a Tumi, a Swiss Gear and this backpack. I also compared the Ogio in person which we already owned. This is the one I kept. The inside is roomy. The zippers are sturdy. It’s a nice backpack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Three Years of Daily Use

I went on Amazon just now because I wanted to buy another of these. Bought my first one in 2016, and it has been everything I wanted. Incredibly strong. Comfortable. Holds a ton. Easy to access everything. I use it for commuting to work (with laptop and gym clothes), but also for travel. The sternum strap is a little low for a woman's chest, but it's still much more comfortable than the other styles I tried. Finally, on a recent trip, when I was carrying about 50 pounds of bottled water, the sternum strap broke. Figured I'd get another one. I highly recommend it!
