A good investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some bits are sharper than others *by W***N on June 22, 2024* I bought these bits primarily to drill a hole through the width of a 10 inch board. The board had split and I wanted to put in a threaded rod to hold it together. Using the 1/4 inch bit, I can only drill 3/4 inch before having to pull out the bit to remove the chips. So I'm drilling through the board 3/4 inch at a time. The hole was straight but the flutes didn't do their job. I then used the 3/8 and 1/2 inch bits and they worked much better. I was able to drill through a full 3 inches without stopping. Note that the 1/2 inch bit does not have a reduced shank so you will need a 1/2 inch drill to use them. It would be nice if these bits had a hex shank.
