If I put them in wet the are very hot in 10 minutes. If I put them in dry it takes about a half hour and the middles are pretty much dry. I damp and roll them first before putting in and they stand upwards 3 in each row. **Q: Does the timer tick loudly enough to disturb a massage?** A: It is a very light sound just so you know the timer is working.
