It is very well done, but it is different in a few ways. For example, due to rights issues “Chaos Warriors” are now “Dread Warriors” and the “Fimir” is now an “Abomination.” Furniture is also solid plastic now rather than an assembled combination of plastic/cardboard. The elf is now female. The dice are all plastic (iirc original might have been wood?). Slight differences can be seen in pretty much all of the artwork. I had the original set when I was young and am full of nostalgia for it, but overall I’d say the new set is actually an improvement. **Q: Who decided to up the cost ($230.00) on a game that hasn't even come out yet? you know we can just buy it direct for way less?** A: But it now!!! Been eyeballing this game forever and could never pull the trigger on a 300.00 used copy with missing pieces .. **Q: Is this game playable solo?** A: As of right now 1/24/2023 this expansion has not been added to the heroquest app. Meaning you cant play this solo on the app. They might add this to the app in the furture, but I have not heard anything about that yet. **Q: when will there be more in stock?** A: Thanks for your question.
