Review: Outstanding Pre-built Quad - Outstanding quality hobby-grade quad. When you get this quad, you're going to want to familiarize yourself with Cleanflight and how to program the flight controller, and how to program the transmitter. You can use it right out of the box, but since this isn't a toy drone, I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with how everything works. Mine came with the directions for the switches that Arris programmed on the transmitter, the diagrams for the flight controller, and the VTX, and some advisories for flight. Also included was contact information for Arris hobby, as well as a set of replacement stickers for the frame. There is a three-way switch on the transmitter for arming the quad and switching from level to acro mode, and there is a two way switch on the transmitter that can be used to set off a built in beeper to help you find the quad, should you crash in some tall grass or something like that. All of the switches can be changed in Cleanflight. These directions are sufficient enough to get you in the air, but I'd recommend trying out flying in a simulator, or at least line-of-sight first. That being said, the all-in-one ESCs and flight controller stack make for a really clean build, and the only minor gripes I have with the build quality is the low-quality adhesive used to stick down the VTX and the landing pads. The VTX does come with a dipole antenna, but I'd recommend upgrading to a circular polarized one as soon as possible. The transmitter is outstanding for the price of this setup, and has many more features than the FlySky i6 that I was considering. The flight controller comes with built in on-screen display using MWOSD, and Arris pre-programs it pretty well. The OSD can be changed in the field if you'd like to change the options on-screen. The 1000TVL board camera looks great, and really handles low-light pretty well, with what I'd consider an acceptable amount of noise, and the battery included is a 4S with a good amount of power. If you'd like to tone it back a bit for learning, I'd recommend trying a 3S. The only complaint I have about everything that comes in this setup is that the AC adapter for the charger included melted on my first time using it. It's a cheap AC adapter, and I would not recommend using it. The balance charger itself is great though. As soon as I replaced the AC adapter, it's been working great. The seller even refunded me for the charger as well. All in all, this is a great hobby-grade quad, and this thing is as tough as nails. I've had a few pretty gnarly crashes it just keeps on flying. The tower stack makes for a really clean build, and the transmitter and components are a cut above most entry-level race quads. It should definitely be kept in mind that quads like this are not toys, and are a combination of hobby-grade components, so a little bit of research will need to be done to really utilize the full capacity of a setup like this. The initial setup manual that Arris uses to program the flight controller can be found online, as well as spec sheets for the motors, Flycolor Tower, and the instruction guide for the transmitter.
Review: Loved this bird 4 perfect take offs & landings on 4 bats, Fell frm sky flight 5 & broke my heart - I Love the control and responsiveness, speed and power are great, Had four beautiful flights without a hitch. Teary-eyed kind of beautiful, cinematics from a racing drone. I couldn't wait to share how cool, but on my 5th flight, it fell from the sky, and I almost cried, and not because of how beautiful, but how it hurt my heart, It wasn't a failsafe, because it rearmed after only one attempt, and a failsafe should have required two, but think it is losing contact with the controller. Took it off to fly back to the original takeoff point, and it fell from the sky again before it could make it all the way back. I have two of its little brothers the arris 220 with the Taranis controller and thought so highly of them that even though the first one fell the from the sky and so did the second, but though I normally do not, I'm going to give them a third chance. They really are so cool, and quick, and accurate, and responsive, that I'm willing to overcome whatever is causing the problem because I want a working one bad enough to cause it to happen. This one seemed to have the same problem as it's little buddies when you tilt forward, yaw left, roll left, and increase thrust they fall from the sky. I'm going to review the footage, but that was the last command I had sent in each instance just before it fell, I will add the footage for you, and hope I can help them to work this out for us all, 'cause if I can, every boy's going to want one! and I mean the three bird package, not just one of, assuming Foxeer, and Taranis. wish it had a Taranis like the 220's did. The glass on this isn't as nice as the Foxeer that comes standard on the 220 Would really like a 220, 250, & 280 all bound to the same Tarranis, all with Foxeer cams, factor tested to confirm they don't fall from the sky when you tilt forward, yaw left, roll left, and increase thrust. Even if they didn't want to start offering it as a package, I'd be thrilled if they would set me up! I'll come back and add some video later Happy flying!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid build Fast & sturdy!!!!!!
*by C***P on February 21, 2017*

Flies great straight out of the box & even better once u tweak it. I can see where Arris is going with this & I'm all for thinking outside the box but ironically this is thinking "inside the box" I fly a lot & I crash a lot into small trees shrubs ect. & have had my ESC's damaged or ripped off, I decided on this build due to the stacked tower & hidden ESC's but that can be a draw back as if ever an ESC decides to burn (& we know how they can burn) you run the risk of other important parts getting burned so that will be left up to the future. I noticed on the 1st flight the sticky foam landing gear fell off so invest in better one's. The 2 most important hacks u should do to this build is either relocate the Tx or reinforce it with better tape or something the rp-sma connector is over the edge of the frame adding a better antenna like a mushroom due weigh it will break the end of the transmitter, I noticed a picture drop while flying for 3 days thinking it was a bad signal, interference, etc. but i didn't find out until it was to late. The other hack is to tie a small tie strap around the tower & the frame to secure connection (not super tight tho) there are slots cut into the side of the frame to do so. Like all other pre builds it has its own bugs that u can work out but over all its has quickly became 1 of my favorite racers its fast & sturdy oh & did I mention its real carbon fiber & not that glass crap, the props are real tough I've bent them back into shape plenty of times & they still perform , the camera is among the decent ones with a great pic even in low light I fly it a lot now that im waiting on a ESC for my Rodeo 150 :( so the more I fly the more I push it & it can do a lot more!!!
