The Ateco 407 Universal Couplers and 3017 17-inch cake decorating bag set is the ideal, single solution for any cake decorating task that includes piped icing. When used together this set eliminates the need for multiple bags to accommodate different sizes of decorating tubes; it is quick and easy to change from a large star or leaf tip to the smallest writing tip without wasting icing or making a mess. The universal coupler eliminates the need for multiple sized couplers; this one coupler set does the work of four Ateco couplers: small, medium, medium/large, large; compatible with any decorating tubes or tips with an bottom opening between 0.5 inch to 1.5 inch. The set includes a 17-inch reusable decorating bag, 1 large coupler neck, 1 small coupler neck, 4 coupler collars (small(398), medium(402), medium/large, large(404)) and 1 coupler cap to keep icing fresh when not in use; all collars are textured for a better grip and easy opening. Coupler components are made from durable food safe plastic and should be hand washed for longer life. The 3017 reusable decorating bag is made of coated nylon and has a reinforced, hemmed edge for added durability at opening which should not be cut or trimed otherwise it will not work properly. The 17-Inch bag is big enough for most decorating jobs without being difficult to handle, it has an 11-inch opening making it easy to fill. Review: I love Ateco because I can always count on high quality well made products from them. The bag has a nice wide opening making it much simpler to fill and clean and the couplers fit snug so the pastry tips don’t wiggle all around.
Review: I wanted to try Eclairs for the first time and resorted to ziplock bags because my star tips weren't big enough so i made a makeshift plain tip to work with. The Eclairs turned out HUGE and were still good but not uniform. So i ordered the bag and coupler and it went perfectly with a 869A star tip which resulted in smaller eclair shells that all looked pretty similar with less cracking.

Makes switching between different decorating tips a cinch!!! Having one coupler that works for the small cake decorating tips and the huge tips is genius. And I love that it has a cap so I can finish my decorating later and save my icing. Seriously…it doesn’t look like much, but this is such a great addition to dessert decorating tools cakes or cookies. ❤️
