One of them is like a murder mystery clue style adventure which brings a little variety to the normal killing monsters adventures. **Q: Does this bring everything needed to play or would I need to buy something else with it?** A: This is an expansion for Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition. You would have to have the base game in order to play this one. **Q: Do the expansions change the base scenarios at all?** A: Yes it does. Do be warned buying them is addictive :) and having all the expansions makes keeping everything organized a pain. After a few play throughs I got everything situated. I own all but two expansions, so there are a lot of cards and pieces in my setup. I'd say it's definitely worth it though. If you can find the first edition at a good price I'd recommend combining the two. It's out of print and typically expensive though.
