Although the legs are tipped with hard plastic, I tried sticking self-sticking felt discs to them to further protect my wood floor. The discs wouldn't stay on, so now I'm trying slip-on rubber tips on one chair. They don't look so good and they don't fit tight, but seem to do the job. The chairs came in one box. They were well packed and easy to put together. No parts, fittings or tools missing.

Easy to assemble, comfortable. I double-coated them in Scotch Guard but the fabric (very soft) is still pretty thirsty. I would purchase again.
