I have used it, not only to charge our cell phones, but also to charge a couple of other devices which have USB C inputs.Its construction quality is obviously superb (it is easy to tell as soon as you take out the cable) and I am positive that it will last for a very long time.Yes, It's fairly expensive, especially when you consider the less-than-3-foot length. But I believe that you get what you pay for. I have quite a few other Type C cables but all of them transfer data at USB 2.0 speeds.
