Review: Good on construction, output and price! - I liked this fixture the moment I turned it on. The combo of the 2 visible and IR frequencies mounted separately in the same housing look convincingly effective, where you can see the deep red LEDs alongside the separate powered but neutrally glowing IRs, and the combination actually feels good on the skin, concentrated into a tighter circle than the large boxy panels can direct. I used a meter and tested for both frequencies and found them approx equally present. I can't vouch for the overall long term healing properties of red light therapy, but I trust that if it does work then this light can do it. It's durably well made, maybe slightly heavy with ceramic and metal construction but it works fine in the adjustable photo light socket I had.

I liked this fixture the moment I turned it on. The combo of the 2 visible and IR frequencies mounted separately in the same housing look convincingly effective, where you can see the deep red LEDs alongside the separate powered but neutrally glowing IRs, and the combination actually feels good on the skin, concentrated into a tighter circle than the large boxy panels can direct. I used a meter and tested for both frequencies and found them approx equally present. I can't vouch for the overall long term healing properties of red light therapy, but I trust that if it does work then this light can do it. Can feel the relief immediately upon use. Great value and quality compared to so many others I have tried. This is my new go to refer to others, also. It does get warm so be sure the base you get can handle that. I have had a hard time finding a base that this fits on. I like the updated one a bit more with the smoothed edges. Have used it for a few months daily and still going strong. It is a bit hard to use with that issue with finding the right base to screw the bulb into.
