Useless instructions. *by T***W on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2017* I have turtles, and they won't eat in the winter if they get cold. Putting a glass heater in the tank is not an option because they destroy everything, and my previous two "unbreakable" heaters both died. I decided to try this one because of the sleeve that goes over the glass body. So far, my little destructors have not been able to break it, which is good. I'm giving it four stars because the setting directions are AWFUL!! So far, I'm pleased with the performance, but I had to figure out how to set it because the directions are useless. Basically, submerge the heater, plug it in, and push the button on the end to toggle through temp presets. You can increase by a degree at a time with the little button on the cord. Although the directions claim to be Celsius, mine displayed in Fahrenheit. I've only had it set up a few weeks, but I love the display because I always know the temp in the tank now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BOTTOM LINE...LOVE THIS HEATER, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2017* Best heater I've had (this my 4th in 3 years). My active turtle cannot move it, because it has very strong suction cups which is important. He was always dislodging my old heaters and in the process always moved the flimsy dials that adjusted the temperature. But this heater is so well made, It has very strong suction cups, so he cant move it, though he still keeps trying. Also this heater has a push button on the side which is not accessible as well as an external adjuster. The temperature that it is set at is very visible in a small window with a continuous easy to read brightly lit red digital display.
