He is fine for a bit when a clean mat is put down but after a few days you will see the first spot on the mat. I used to wash the mats down with a hose and then run them through the washing machine but they never got rid of the smell of urine. This time i pressure washed them and after they dried I sprayed them down with this stuff. It really did a good job of getting rid of the odor. I also use it to spray over the pee on the mat in-between washing. If I see a wet spot on the mat I spray it down and it takes away the smell and when the smell is gone the cat doesn't seem to do it again as often as he used to. I can't tell you if it takes out spots and stains or not since I haven't used it for that but I can say it does a good job of eliminating the odor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2017* So far so good. I have used this on a couple of areas and the smell is overpowering at first so I would recommend using and leaving the room for an hour or so. It has a weird smell but isn't unpleasant. I can't smell anything over the scent of the cleaner and I'm hoping that continues.
