"Country of origin" on Amazon is a way to deceive customers. **Q: What does 1040DegF mean?? How many degrees are these really oven safe?** A: Degree Fahrenheit. I doubt you cook anything a 1040 degF, unless you are melting metal but they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.
