I have been using this Longstar model for several years . Purchased 2 that burned out immediately. By the time you pay the return shipping the cost is a wash. Other brands have the same complaint. There appears to be no method to get warranty because the seller usually has a 90 day return policy and no method for warranty returns after that time period. I would like to find a LED replacement. This is a really bad bulb, and should be sighted for false labeling because of the low life, less than 2000 hours. The reason that I continue to use them, low heat output, correct color temperature, a warm glow and seemingly for now no replacement, also a prisoner of style - a regular CFL is just not pretty. . ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not Many Options *by O***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2014* Life expectancy unknown. Some last a week and some for a year. None meed the hour specification advertised. Attractive, give off good light. Not much competition, and none made in the USA. I have it in a socket in my utility room that doesn't have a shade or globe, its just an exposed socket hanging down. This bulb looks a lot better than an exposed incandescent or cfl and it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it.
