You couldn't do better than that, I thought. Then this popped up. It's the size of a pencil. It weighs as much as a butter knife. You can stick it in your pocket, or in your hiking boot, or in your hair, or "other places". Many traditional bombillas I tried in the past let fine yerba mate particles through, which was always unsatisfying.Years ago, I found a little-known product called the Ultimate Bombilla (see photo) that finally solved this problem by using a fine mesh filter, and it cost about $2.50. It worked extremely well for me, but it was plastic, not very attractive, and not designed with cleaning in mind. I always wondered why that fine-mesh concept hadn’t been redesigned in a more modern, practical bombilla.This JoGo does exactly that. It filters just as effectively, looks far better, and is much easier to clean.
