My NVR unit failed about a month after installation, and I was out of town for an additional month. When I contacted her by email, we agreed that we would troubleshoot the unit when I returned.After I returned, we tried numerous times to get it to start again, but always it would just go through its start up cycle and then give error message.Finally I asked for the unit to be replaced. After several exchanges of verification including pictures of the screen and finally a short video, she agreed that the unit should be replaced.A replacement unit was sent out, and is now installed and is working fine. I am hoping that this one will last.Throughout all of this process, Fiona was always quick to respond to emails and always was very polite and friendly. She did a good job of endeavoring to make this a pleasant experience.ADD TO REVIEW 6-24-19After a year of working well, the NVR somehow "locked up" and would only display the System Initializing screen. I tried rebooting by disconnecting everything, but no help. I sent an email to Safevant asking for help. I received a return email from Melody at the Safevant Customer Service Team who gave me the specific steps to reboot, and offered further help if that did not work. Well, it DID work, and all is well again. I do have to say that their support has been helpful twice now.Add to Review 8-2-19Product developed the same problem, so I emailed Safevant again. Received quick response again from Melody who asked for version info so that she could send me a firmware upgrade. I sent it, and she sent the firmware. Was very easy to install. We'll see how long it lasts................
