These have a distinct over-roasted, slightly bitter flavor. But if that's your thing, you'll love these. On the plus side, the peanut flavor is much stronger than say, Reese's chips (which taste more like vegetable shortening and sugar than peanut butter) The limited ingredient list is why I bought these. I thought that would make the peanut flavor come through more, but the burnt flavor is off-putting. I also didn't fully grasp how freaking SMALL the bag is. Maybe, *maybe* 2 cups by volume — for almost 15 bucks! If I'm lucky, I might get 2 batches of cookies out of it.
