Both of these black holders were a great match for the black headliner. While it is a tight fit to screw this into the handle holes, they are an excellent fit when done. I did have to use a ratchet wrench that I owned since the wrench provided is not great, but that was not a big deal.

The sunglasses holder is a good match for the charcoal interior of my 2024 V60 Recharge, and holds my sunglasses easily. The tools provided are adequate for removing the existing handle above the door. Folding down the visor will give you freer access to turning the wrench. Unless you are nimble-fingered, you will find that installing the holder is easier if you place the head of the screws into the wrench opening first before trying to insert the tip of the screws into the screw hole. Once done the mounting feels very secure. The holder sticks out further than the existing handle, as it must to accommodate a pair of sunglasses. If you are a particularly tall person it may be possible that your head will rub against the holder at times. I am 5’10” and have a fairly high seating position and it’s not an issue for me at all (one inch to spare in fact), but taller people may need to lower their seating position accordingly. The sun visor can be folded down as usual, but it can’t be fully pivoted to cover the side window — it will cover the window, but sticks out enough that your head will be in contact with the visor as you drive. Of course if the sun coming through the side window bothers you, you can just wear your sunglasses instead of pivoting the visor. I installed the holder in preparation for a cross-country road trip where I was driving into sun in the evenings going west and in the mornings coming back east. I found the convenience of being able to quickly and safely access my sunglasses to far outweigh the minor caveats I’ve mentioned. YMMV.

This unit is bigger than the original Volvo unit, but this fits and now it can hold both my sunglasses and reading glasses.

Fits well on my volvo XC60. Works great for keeping my bulky sunglasses out of the way.The GRAY color option seems to match well the BLONDE interior on the XC60.

Bought for my 2020 XC90 with ‘Blond’ interior. Color didn’t even come close to matching. Part was way more of beige where as the interior is much more of a grey tone. Beyond the color mismatch, the part didn’t fit. The problem was that the screws which come with the car have a captive washer which is too big to fit. I could have bought new screws I suppose but too much trouble. I suspect that this part might work with older models which is why the reviews aren’t bad.

It works well on my 2023 Volvo XC90 Recharge. The included tools didn't work well for me, so I used tools that I had around the house. Installation took about 5 minutes and my oversized sunglasses got well in the case. The self closing spring mechanism isn't as strong as the Volvo handle one, but it works fine.

I wasn't sure if this holder was going to fit my 2015 Volvo S80, but it does, albeit not a tightly as I'd prefer. But it still fits and was very easy to install although I had to use a ratchet with a 9mm socket to remove the bolts holding the handle in place since it's held in by a lightweight type of Loc-tite as I saw the blue stuff on the bolt once I removed it. So keep that in mind if you cannot remove the bolt with the supplied wrench alone.

Great product for a difficult to find car brand. Fits and matches perfectly to 2024 Volvo XC90. This is the perfect grey for the headliner that is found with the "charcoal" interior. Took a couple of minutes to install with the included tools. It took longer to detach the grab bar than to install the eye glass holder. Great product at half the 1/3 of the price of OEM that does not have the grey color available.
