I just completed a short 300 mile trip with it. It is sturdy, and has good looking chrome finish. Personally, I will only use it when hauling luggage. Its bulky and I don't care for the looks on my 2015 Street Glide Special, denim black with chrome trim... actually, I wouldn't like any functional luggage rack on the hot rod bagger. But that's exactly why I got this full size detachable luggage rack... it can actually haul my hard side carry-on suitcase. It's detachable and can carry a load. Save $$$ vs the Harley rack.
