I first came across these while looking for an alternative to a more expensive version I was given. These are just as good if not better. Straight out the box they kind of look like thin pieces of coloured cardboard but the moment you wet them they become soft and pliable. They’re light weight, soak up water easily, squeeze out nicely, and dry out well overnight. The slim box slips nicely into a drawer. They can be thrown in the washing machine. I put them in a bowl of water with a drop of bleach and they come up as good as new every time, just give it a good rinse after. Because they’re made of natural fibres you can throw them on the compost (hence the name) but they’re also best used flat rather than folded otherwise the cloth will disintegrate quicker. Not seen how well they break down on the compost yet but time will tell. With a bit of care they’re fantastic value for money and they last ages. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really absorbant *by G***T on 16 January 2025* Really glad I brought these, not much seems to dry my services, but these do! I was looking for something that would leave my seurfaces completely dry for ages and the reviews said these were very absorbant and they are! I have used two on the one surface to achieve these results but that hasn't been a problem as there's enough in the pack. Great that they are compostable as this was the other thing I was really looking for.
