Re bind…works, new battery, no AVC. I did the bind and calibrate function about 6 times before it seemed to take. Hopefully it holds now because AVC makes speed runs more fun and more safe. I was aware of this and purchased this to go in my crawler, so I didn't need the range that a racer or basher might. It isn't the easiest to setup but there are videos online, just be sure to disable avc if you are installing it in a crawler as the gyro will take over and it dosent like some of the angles us crawlers drive on and it makes it very unpredictable.
