I love to take photos, and I wanted something that would work on our many planned snorkeling outings. This case worked perfectly. I did keep a little piece of tissue in the case as an early warning system, but it was never needed.With other cases I ordered (I tried several), I found that I couldn't use the touchscreen under water. As long as you don't store anything else in this case, the touchscreen will still work. I was able to take both photos and videos while snorkeling. We did once try to put our IDs in the case as well, but that did not work. With IDs in the case, the phone is pressed against the silicon face and the touch screen no longer responds. We took the IDs out, used a waterproof neck pouch for those, and happily used the iphone underwater again.My only one little issue with the case (and I don't see a way to fix this, hence no loss of stars) is that you can't hit the button on the top of the phone to shut off the screen. Therefore, I did have a lot of unintentional pictures due to the screen not timing out.
