Review: Hard to find product made possible by desertcart. - This is a very hard to aquire product. Everyone and every place has red and blue. But the green (used on already assembled fasteners) and purple (low strength- for very small screws ie:glasses) are hard to find. Luckily desertcart made it possible. Works as I need, keeps small screws in place on electronics and works well on my glasses.
Review: Great Product. Easy Application. - Great product with no lost bolts so far. As it says, this is low-strength but gets the job done. I use this on all the bolts on my motorcycle not located near the exhaust or too close to the engine. This is because it is not rated for high temperatures. It is easy to apply as all it takes is a drop or two to the threads of any bolt. Highly recommended.

**Q: Can this be used for screws on watch bracelets etc.? Thank you.**
A: Yes, any fastener under 1/4". Blue lecture will work as well, but I prefer purple if the screw will need to come out in the future. If you don't ever plan on removing the screw, use red. I use purple on light duty fasteners such as RC airplanes/helicopters, small firearm components, etc.

**Q: Can this be used to lock nylon set screws in an 6061 aluminum bar?**
A: I haven't used it in this application. I use it as a very low tension threadlocker on tiny screws..Have you tried Loctite blue threadlocker? Can you change out the nylon setscrews for brass or stainless steel ones? Those would be very lockable with any of the loctite products. The nylon is the problem since it distorts easily.

**Q: Does this Come with the Mil Spec certifications?**
A: Only the bottle of Loctite is received. I would suspect that the certs can be downloaded from the Loctite web site.

**Q: Is this the one recomended by Rolex for the bracelet screws?**
A: Yes, Rolex uses Loctite 222 for this purpose.

Great product with no lost bolts so far. As it says, this is low-strength but gets the job done. I use this on all the bolts on my motorcycle not located near the exhaust or too close to the engine. Use this on most of the bolts on my bicycles as well as threaded bottom brackets. No need for the stronger “blue” threadlocker, the 222 has never let me down. And it’s easy to remove the bolts, no heat or other tricks required.
