Pour warm water and bang it upside down until the ice lounges out. The 10 percent at the bottom of the ice block will be cloudy. Cut it off with a knife and discard . The rest of the ice block, use something to whack it and the rest can be put in a plastic zip up .place a towel over it a hit it a couple times to get the ice broke up. When I visited them recently we tested them thoroughly drinking many cocktails over the weekend. The glasses are not only pretty they are super heavy and nice to hold! The only caveat is that they do not run through the dishwasher in the normal orientation. If you put them in at an angle then the water will not get trapped in the bottom cavity . So either need to get creative loading them or hand wash them to avoid the hassle.
