A bit harder to close, but if I use my foot it's fine. Good height, 16" is good for me to stand up from. Many of the ones I looked at were 11" or 13". Really lightweight, fits in my carry-on without taking too much room. Also has a handy carrying case. Great price, too!

**Q: Would this work as a foot stool on a plane?**
A: As most planes have limited foot space to begin with, I would not recommend this as a foot stool on a plane. The height and depth of the stool would be too large and would interact with the seat in front. You would have to bend your leg beyond 90 degrees and sit in an upright fetal position for it to be viable.

**Q: Can this be taken in a carry on? Or would it need to be checked in my luggage?**
A: Its folded size: 14 × 7 × 1.2 inch. It can be carried in your backpack.

**Q: Is it good for urban sketching**
A: I don’t know what urban sketching is but it is sturdy but a little lower to the ground than I would have liked. It is very lightweight which is good.

Good quality. Light weight. Easy to setup. Have to take note during setup, sometimes the frames will cross to the side that is will cause difficulty in deploying, when it happens, do not force deploy. Disassemble it and try switching the side before deploying again. Forcing it to deploy when its stuck will damage the product.
