Don't hesitate. *by T***D on January 28, 2021* I have all the knives I need, and bought this just to evaluate the Luna line. This review is for the "kiritsuke nakiri." ("Asian" blade.) It's a fairly good steel, comes with a decent edge, and is an excellent value. The handle is a bit thin for an Asian style blade, and could become slippery, but used on the usual vegetables should be fine. Based on this experience I would recommend the Luna line, especially for a new cook (wedding gift, etc.). They're not "artisan" knives, but more than I expected for the money, thin enough to cut easily, and will last for a good long time.
