Be aware that Bowden tube extruders come with their own unique struggles, but they're not as nasty as the A8 Plus's direct drive extruders. The one on the ender-3 will work just fine. The limit of a ptfe tube is around 240-250. Petg prints with a hotend at 230-250 usually, just make sure the filament you buy isn't one of the odd ones that might need higher temps.
