Like steaming hot?** A: It does do an excellent job of keeping the resulting coffee warm but, you do not want to leave the coffee in the pot because it continues to brew and you will find that second cup of coffee bitter. Better to brew, serve a cup or two and pour the remaining brew in a stainless steel thermos (which has been preheated using hot water) for later consumption. We really like this French Press; it is our "go to" when we have the time to brew over our $2,300 Jura Impressa Automatic Coffee Machine... have had this for 8 years... great coffee but, not as good as a very good French Press like this. **Q: Did it come with the extra screen? Thanks.** A: They do wear out eventually. But you can search “French press filter screens” and buy more there are several that come up and this brand is one of them. **Q: Okay, I've read all six answers for "Where is the Secura 8 cup French Press Coffee maker manufactured?" Is it China or Wisconsin???? The Secura webs** A: These are in fact manufactured in China according to Secura. **Q: Can you make cold brew with this?** A: I make cold brew with this French Press every morning. Grind my coffee beans, pour cold water in, put in the refrigerator and then wait 12 to 24 hours before pressing. It's a perfect way to make cold brew. The cold brew has a wonderful flavor, I think it tastes a little like chocolate. Not only does it taste great, I save so much money making it myself. ## Frequently Bought Together - Secura French Press Coffee Maker, 304 Grade Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Press with 2 Extra Screens, 17oz (0.5 Litre), Silver - BLACK+DECKER One Touch Coffee Grinder, 2/3 Cup Coffee Bean Capacity, Spice Grinder, One Touch Push-Button Control -150 Watts -Stainless Steel Blades - Cosori Electric Kettle, No Plastic Filter & Spout, Stainless Steel Inner Lid, Tea Kettle & Hot Water Boiler For Coffee & Tea, Water Heater & Teapot, Automatic Shut Off, Black, 1.7L/1500W --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/383540339-secura-sfp-17ds-stainless-steel-18-10-bonus-screen-french](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/383540339-secura-sfp-17ds-stainless-steel-18-10-bonus-screen-french) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
